Microsoft Office 2013 is available to download right now as a customer preview. Obviously, this means that there may be some bugs but after a few hours of solid testing, I’ve found none.
Included in Office 2013 is the new versions of Outlook, Publisher, Powerpoint, Word, Access, Excel and OneNote. Each of the programmes have a slightly altered user interface and now include the Metro bordering. Oddly enough, they only open from the main desktop rather than the new Windows 8 Metro Menu.
To download simply visit ‘office.com/preview’ and continue with the installation process. The new office drops support for XP and Vista which means if you are running Windows 7 or the Release Preview of Windows 8, you can download this right away. It’s completely free of charge so what are you waiting for?
