Track Santa With Google This Year

Since 2007, Norad has teamed up with Google to provide children across the world with an online view of where Santa is on Christmas Eve, as he travels from house to house delivering presents. However this year, Norad decided they liked the look of Windows 8, and teamed up with Microsoft to create an application for their new operating system, leaving Google to track Santa all by themselves.

This means that for the first time, Children have more than one mainstream option for tracking Santa. Technology companies like Google, Microsoft and Apple are used to competing with each other over the best phones, tablets and operating systems, but battling over Santa has to be the most ridiculous tech competition ever.

This year, Google have made Santa tracking available through an Android application and a Chrome extension, as well as the desktop website and the ability to follow Santa on Google+.
