J.J. Abrams and Valve’s Gabe Newell have revealed that the two are discussing the possibilities of releasing a game together, as well as making a film based on either Portal or Half Life.
Gaming heads have teamed up with Valve to create the first officially licensed turret, based on the humorous singing turrets in Portal and Portal 2.
The 16″ tall model is motion activated, meaning if you walk in front of it, you’ll get a comedic warning such as ‘Is anyone there?’
“Cast in high quality poly-stone, the statue is hand finished and hand painted to our exacting standards.”
Available in Q4 this year, it’s a collectible with only 350 being created. Act fast.
A new handbook intended to be handed out to new employees of game company Valve has been leaked to the internet, and appears to be pretty legit.
The 56 page document, which would take some effort to forge, contains detailed illustrations, step by step guides, and contains a lot of the humour we are used to seeing in Valve’s games like Portal.
If you’re looking for a good read, you can read the entire handbook in a PDF at this link.
