JAM with Chrome, by Google

JAM with Chrome is a new web based game by Google which lets you enter an online GarageBand-style music session with friends. The free service is created as a demonstration of HTML 5, as part of Google’s ‘Creative Lab’.

The game has a cartoon graphic style, and fits very well into the ‘fun’ style which Google has been aiming towards in their recent adverts. It’s not bursting with features, but has a good assortment of musical instruments, each with auto-play if you don’t fancy yourself to be the musical type, but still want to join in with friends. Speaking of which, Google have made the excellent decision to include a chat window, so you can discuss what you are playing with friends.
